He is a graduate of the National College of Naturopathic Medicine, a four year accredited naturopathic medical school that's recognized by all licensing jurisdictions. He is also a graduate of the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine. For 20 years, Weiss practiced as a Naturopathic Physician and Acupuncturist, lisenced by the State of Oregon. He is not currently working as a licensed Naturopathic Doctor, although he still maintains a license as an Acupuncturist from the State of Oregon. Shandor Weiss also is licensed as a Minister of Natural Medicine and a Clinical Health Counselor by the World Order of Natural Medicine Practitioners, a non-governmental religious organization that supports the practice of natural healing in the tradition of missionary medicine.
